Appointments
Should you require an appointment, medical help or advice, please telephone the surgery during the hours of 08:00 - 18:30 and we will do our best to help you.
We review our services regularly and individual timings may change. Our reception team will always be happy to help with any questions or queries regarding the availability of our GP’s and nurses.
You are able to book up to 6 weeks ahead with a GP of your choice subject to availability.
You are able to book appointments with the Practice Nurses or Healthcare Assistants up to 6 weeks ahead.
If you are suddenly unwell and feel you need to see a clinician urgently please ring the surgery and we will do our very best to see you the same day. The clinician will deal with One New Urgent Problem Only during these sessions.
Our highly skilled team of GPs, nurses and practitioners will see up to 60 patients urgently each day and it is therefore important that you only ask to be seen urgently if absolutely necessary. Things such as repeat medication or medical certificates that have run out cannot be dealt with in these sessions and you will need to put your request in at reception.
Home Visit Requests
If you are genuinely housebound and feel you need an urgent home visit please make sure you call before 10am and your request will be passed to one of the GPs who will call you to assess the clinical need. If a visit is deemed necessary you may now be visited by our Urgent Care Practitioner who has joined our team.
Cancellations
Please telephone as soon as you know that you cannot attend your appointment, preferably 24 hours before so we can offer the appointment to another patient.
Alternatively, we operate a text messaging reminder service and if you receive a text reminder and wish to cancel the appointment you can simply text back the word "cancel" to the number quoted on the text.
Chaperones
If you have a private problem that you wish to see the doctor for and you feel conscious of seeing them on your own, you can ask to have a chaperone who can then be present during your consultation. Please advise reception or a clinician whilst in your consultation and we can arrange this for you.
